Google collaborated with McLaren to put Android and Chrome logos on Formula 1 race cars


McLaren will use Android devices with 5G browsers and Chrome in its operations. This includes training, qualification and competitions to support pilots and teams.

McLaren will add Android and Chrome logos to the engine cover and wheel covers of the MCL36 Formula 1 race cars and Number 58 McLaren MX Extreme E race car. 


The helmets and suits of McLaren drivers from Formula 1 Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo from Formula 1 for the 2022 season also carry the Android and Chrome brands from Google.

Emma Gilmore and Tanner Fust's McLaren MX Extreme E racing costumes from the 2022 Island X Prix will also feature the logo.


What is McLaren


McLaren Racing Limited is a British racing team based at the McLaren Technology Center in Woking, Surrey, England.


McLaren is best known as the constructors of Formula 1, the second oldest active team and the second most successful team in Formula 1 after Ferrari.
